Pumpkin Hollow Mine East Shaft Project
The Pumpkin Hollow Mine located 15 km southeast of Yerington, Nevada, is owned by Nevada Copper, Inc. The scope of the project was to develop an underground copper mine with shafts for production and ventilation. The mine is being built from a greenfield situation and promises to be a significant benefit to this historic mining region.
Cementation’s scope of work included development of a 2,160 ft deep by 24 ft diameter vertical production shaft, with two shaft stations and 600 ft of level development.
